2015 Summer School information:

Credit Completion: classes for those students who exceeded the Attendance Policy will begin Monday, June 8th. Students who are eligible to attend will be notified by mail. If a student loses credit for a required course, he/she will need to retake the course to meet graduation requirements if they do not attend credit completion.

Youth One Stop Employment Program

The Youth One Stop Employment Program is a job program for current high school seniors graduating in June 2015.  Preference is given to special needs students and/or students receiving free or reduced lunch.  Click here for more information.

Rowan University Urban Teachers Academy

–The Rowan Urban Teacher Academy is offered to rising high school juniors and seniors who are considering teaching as a profession.  There is no fee for this program and meals are provided. Click here for more information.

9th Annual Careers in Aviation Summer Academy

–The Careers in Aviation Summer Academy exposes participants to careers in aviation and the role air transportation plays in improving the economic and social life of all Americans.  Click here for more information.

The College of New Jersey Robotics Summer Camp

–The College of New Jersey Robotics Summer Camp is an intensive camp intended to motivate creative minds or prospective Electrical and Computer Engineers.  Eligible camp participants are high school students who rank at the top 30% of their class.  Click here for more information.

 

Monroe Township Little League (MTLL) is in need of volunteers to help with various activities starting soon. WHS Students interested in volunteering and getting community service experience click here for more information.

 

 

 

Career Cruising:

  • Career Cruising is a paid subscription that WHS Guidance provides as an online career guidance and planning tool. WHS students have been tutored on the use of this tool during their session in the Career Center and have been taught how to explore career options, education, school selection and how to build a portfolio.
