24 Hour Tip Hot Line
We are pleased to announce that starting this school year, we are implementing a new School Safety Hotline resource titled WeTip. WeTip is a comprehensive and completely anonymous (as opposed to confidential) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 1-800 service that will receive and process anonymous calls from informants on issues including but not limited to; school vandalism, gang activity, drug activity, bullying, acts of violence, rumors of planned violence, fraud, abuse, weapons on campus, harassment, arson, etc. Callers are NEVER asked for personal information. WeTip provides a way for students, faculty and staff to communicate information about problem situations in school anonymously without fear of reprisal or retaliation. Information stations have been placed in all school main offices and posters have been displayed. There is no action required on your part except to be aware the resource is available to you and to refer those in need of a resource to the WeTip hotline. |
