Parent Volunteering

What is the parent volunteer program?

Volunteers assist our students and Williamstown middle school staff to make our school a great place to go and work.  Any adult can volunteer.  We have moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  There are 3 types of volunteers.  Volunteers that are available during the day will be helping with different projects that teachers need done during the school day.  They may include cutting ellison shapes, laminating, binding books, setting up bulletin boards, homeroom helpers, read to a student, technology helper, assist with community folders, move small equipment, new student packets, assist in the media centers, assist with yearbook sales, sell pretzels  at lunch time, assist on half days in the cafeteria with food sales, baking, book fair, Expo of Excellence, Community  of Caring gardens, attend meetings as a representative for the parents


When would parent volunteers work?

Work at home only volunteers:   
can complete clerical items for the teachers, bake for the breakfast cart, bake for sales, make phone calls, trim laminating


Available only in the evenings or weekends:
Baking, assist with a car wash or craft show, fundraise, attend H  S A meeting

During the day:
