About Us
The Oak Knoll Elementary Site Council/Safety Committee is a small open group comprised of teachers, para-professionals, the principal and parents who meet monthly to discuss the school climate of Oak Knoll. The committee is integrally involved with school operations, making recommendations for improving school safety, and providing feedback regarding the overall school environment. Membership is open to all interested people, including parents who have an hour a month to share their thoughts and provide some guidance regarding the Oak Knoll community. We have discussed such things as bullying, playground equipment, dismissal and drop-off procedures, academic programs, etc. Parents are free to join us for one or all meetings (see link with meeting dates) that take place in the school media center at 4:35. Please join us and let your voice be heard!
