Recycling Club

Three arrows recycling logo wrapped around image of the Earth. The students of Whitehall Elementary are going green!  Recycling has become an important part of everyday life at our school, thanks in part to the Recycling Club.  Each marking period, a group of dedicated fourth graders raise awareness and help the environment by collecting recyclable materials from the classrooms.Cartoon snail with recycling bin on his back

The students learn why it is important to recycle, and have become adept at recognizing what can and cannot be recycled.  This knowledge is useful both in school and at home.  These students are setting a great example for the rest of the school and their hard work helps both teachers and students remember to recycle throughout the week!

If you have any questions or ideas for the recycling club, or want to know more about how you can help the environment, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
