“Building a Bridge to the Future”

Dear Parents,

Listed below are some important reminders and dates for the month of November.

We continue to promote the Caring Community philosophy as part of the Character Education Program.  Our goal is to incorporate and promote the Five Core Values of:  Caring, Family, Respect, Responsibility and Trust.  The character trait for November is “Friendship” and the quote for the month is “Life’s true happiness is found in friendships we make along the way.” ~~~ Unknown

A Note from the NurseCold and flu season is rapidly approaching.  One of the best ways to protect against these respiratory illnesses is hand washing.  Please reinforce with your children the importance of hand washing especially after coughing or sneezing.  Remind your children to cover their nose and mouth when they sneeze and cough.

Tuesday, November 7th, Election Day is a shortened day. Wednesday, November 8th is a full day. On Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th school will be closed due to the NJ Teacher’s Convention. Thanksgiving break begins with a shortened day on Wednesday, November 22nd with dismissal for grades 1-4 at 1:20 p.m.  School will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th for Thanksgiving break.
