Some of the best parts of a school week are the things families hear about later: a basketball trick they tried, applesauce they helped make, a butterfly they saw up close, or a visitor who stopped by their classroom.
On September 25, about 50 Radix families spent the evening with Parker “Basketball” Jones during two interactive sessions filled with basketball tricks, games and plenty of movement. Between activities, Parker talked about listening, making positive choices and treating others with kindness, leaving everyone with one simple message: “Be kind.”
